How do I authenticate a luxury handbag before buying?
Before buying a luxury handbag, request detailed photos of stamps, serials, hardware, and interior pockets; use escrow where possible; and post the bag for Check 'Em authentication before releasing full payment when buying privately.
Before you pay
Ask for macro photos of date codes, heat stamps, zipper pulls, and seam alignment. Compare price to realistic resale, deep discounts are a warning.
After delivery
If the seller allows returns, authenticate immediately upon arrival. Do not list or gift until you have a pass result and certificate.
