How your money is protected

You pay Cop 'Em, not the seller
Payment is taken through Mollie at checkout and held by Cop 'Em. The seller receives nothing at this point. They are told to ship only once your payment has cleared.
The money stays put until the item is authenticated
The item ships to our UK centre and is examined there. Funds are not released to the seller while it is in transit, at the centre, or under authentication.
Pass, and it ships to you. Fail, and you decide
If the item passes, it is sent to you and the seller is paid after delivery. If it fails, or is authentic but not as described, you choose whether to return it, keep it anyway, or raise a dispute.
Refunds are automatic, payouts are manual
An approved return is refunded through Mollie back to your original payment method. Seller payouts are made by bank transfer to verified UK account details, which is why they are not instant.
What it costs
The £15 is the authentication fee, charged to each side.
Paid out by bank transfer once the buyer has the item.
If the seller takes the item back, return postage is £50 and the seller pays it.
If you raise a dispute
A dispute pauses the transaction and sends it for manual review. We re-examine the item and either confirm the original result or overturn it. You are told the outcome by email, and the money stays with us throughout.
One point to be clear about: each order gets one dispute. Once we have reviewed and given our decision, the remaining choice is to return the item or keep it. You cannot open a second dispute on the same order.
