Can you clean suede trainers professionally?
Yes. Suede trainers are cleaned using dry and low-moisture methods, specialist brushes, and a protective finish, which lifts dirt and revives the nap without the water marks and matting that ruin suede.
Why suede needs different handling
Suede and nubuck are delicate napped materials that mark easily and react badly to being soaked. Treating suede like leather, by scrubbing it wet, is the most common way pairs get damaged at home.
Professionally, suede is worked mostly dry or with very low moisture. Specialist brushes lift dirt and restore the direction of the nap, and stubborn marks are spot-treated rather than flooded with water.
What to expect and aftercare
Most suede trainers come back noticeably cleaner with the colour and texture revived. We finish with a protective treatment that helps the suede resist future water marks and staining.
Set-in oil stains or long-standing discolouration may not fully lift, and we'll tell you honestly before starting if that's the case. Suede care is part of the standard £60 Clean 'Em package, with authentication included.
