I got scammed online in the UK: what should I do?
Contact your bank immediately for transfer recall, report the seller to the platform, save all evidence, and file Action Fraud. Recovery is harder off platform. Future luxury purchases should use Cop 'Em escrow with authentication instead of bank transfer.
Immediate steps
Call your bank the same day if you paid by transfer. Screenshot chats, listings, and tracking details.
Report to Vinted, Depop, eBay, or Facebook Marketplace if the contact started there.
